The teams of the church are the place you can offer your God-given talents to be a part of the work of the church. Find the area He has most blessed you in to roll up your sleeves and get to work!
The Arena Team will be responsible for providing the tools, resources, and personnel necessary for the church to effectively carry out its arena ministry. They shall be responsible for the oversight, care, maintenance, and use of the arena. They will work with the Leadership Team as well as the other ministry teams to develop strategies and plan events that will utilize the arena to effectively reach the cowboy/western culture for Christ.
The Care Team is responsible for organizing the efforts of the church in helping both our members and others who find themselves in physical or spiritual need. This vital work of the church is most needed in illnesses, accidents and times of tragedy.
Cross Kids Children’s Ministry Team ministers to children 6 weeks old to sixth grade each Sunday morning during the 9 & 11:00 a.m. worship services and each Wednesday evening during the 7:00 p.m. service. A special needs class is offered each Sunday morning, as well, for children with unique educational needs.
Additionally, Cross Kids hosts day camps, a Fall Festival, and family fellowships. Arena activities provided for our children include a Kids Ranch Rodeo series and Youth Livestock Show. Fourth through sixth graders also attend an AFCC Cowboy Camp each summer.
The Chuckwagon Team provides for food and beverages at church functions as requested by the leadership of the church. Their function is made more important by the cowboy way of not talking much except over grub.
The Facility Team will be responsible to ensure that the church has adequate facilities to effectively carry out its ministries. They will oversee the care, maintenance, and use of all facilities and grounds except the arena. They will also assist the pastor and elders with long range planning which will ensure that the church has adequate facilities to meet future needs.
The Audit Team will be responsible to ensure that the church has adequate financial resources to effectively carry out its ministries. They shall work cooperatively with the pastor, elders, lay pastors, professional staff, and team leaders to find maximum resources for meeting each ministry need. They shall also be responsible for the preparation of the annual budget, for the oversight and accounting of all financial records, and for assisting the pastor and elders with long term planning which will ensure that the church has financial resources to meet future ministry needs.
The Music Team provides for worshipful and spiritually uplifting music at church events and worship services as requested by the ministerial staff.

The Personnel Team will be responsible to ensure that the church has adequate support staff to effectively carry out its ministries. They will fill staff vacancies as needed or as directed by the church, conduct periodic staff evaluations, make salary recommendations, and mediate church/staff disputes.
Mending Fences Recovery Program is a weekly ministry geared toward folks with hurts, habits, & hang ups. The purpose of Mending Fences is to fellowship and praise God’s healing in our lives through the 12 Steps that are grounded in God’s Word, the Holy Bible.
